Thought about making a last minute trip to Vegas but noticed the blackout dates for the Aria/Bellagio buffets which are my usual redemptions.

Mlife +MyVegas Rewards stackable???
I will be going to LV in August. Through M-Life I have 3 nights room comped at Luxor, some free slot play, and $150 food & beverage credit. I redeemed a reward for $75 off $150 at Tenders Steakhouse. I'm trying to stretch my Luxor food & beverage credit and was wondering if I could use both offers.
I've read older posts and it was allowable. I've glanced at the Terms and Conditions of both programs and got tired of reading and couldn't find anything. Just wondering if anybody has recently stacked offers.

I have been playing this game since a few months after it started, and have redeemed at least a few thousand dollars worth of rewards during the life of the game. The rewards are not nearly as generous or varied as in the past, but for my next trip to Vegas in a few weeks I will be redeeming a dinner buffet at Bellagio, $50 in free play, and a breakfast/lunch buffet at Aria. I think that is worth the few minutes a day I spend playing every day.
To get started I would recommend joining the private Facebook group MyVegas Friends. The have wonderful FAQs about how to get started and maximize your rewards, as well as a community full of folks who can let you know anything you want about this program.
Good luck!

If you want to start playing, lots of sites offer links for free chips (I like"myvegaschipsandcoupons" on Facebook which posts links to free chips every day.

I played from the beginning and also have redeemed for several Cirque shows, free rooms, meals, free play etc. I haven't clicked on the game for weeks now. I have over 1million coins and the last time I was there in May, all that I redeemed was free pastry at jean-phillipe. I wasn't staying at a mlife property so lots of things were off limits.
The rewards are almost a joke anymore---free pizza topping???

Some of them are ridiculous and its hard to believe someone would actually redeem a reward for a free pizza topping...the rewards definitely used to be a lot better! In the past I redeemed for things such as 2x premium KA tickets, 2 night stay at the mirage, and the $150 straight credit to the Steakhouse before it was changed to 75 off $150. But I have a lot less LPs now after redeeming the bulk of them for the dinner/chips/tour of the Hippodrome casino in London. And even that has now doubled from 500k to 1 million LPs!
I can understand some of the changes and the need to cut back on some of the rewards, but I do think they went a little overboard. Having to pay the resort fee on a comp stay is probably my biggest annoyance. Combine that with the limited calendar of dates on some of the hotels and it can be quite an annoyance to even use a single "free" hotel night, which you are limited to using 1 per person per trip anyhow. But the game can still can be useful especially with show tickets and buffets. Even more so if you are already staying at an MLife hotel and can use all 3 of your rewards on things other than hotel. If you are traveling with more than one person, however, everyone should be playing the MyVegas game to earn points since they cut out most the 2x buffet ticket and 2x show ticket type of rewards.

I certainly still find it worth it for Cirque tickets - I saw Ka for free last time, and I'm booked to see Love and Zumanity when I'm next back in Vegas, so that's easily $200 worth of value there. Not sure what to use my remaining reward on though - I was thinking of just getting a pass to the ARIA buffet, but I'm not super keen on the idea of having to queue to get in - does anyone know how long the queues typically are on a weeknight? I've got 100k LPs at the moment, but there doesn't seem like there's anything too great available.

1) The Aria buffet requires that you stay at an MGM property. If you meet this condition, I'd recommend you try the Bellagio buffet instead. In my view it's a notch higher than Aria's.
2) If you do choose to do the Bellagio buffet, you go into the "invited guests" line if you have a comp from MyVegas. In the worst of circumstances, it might be a 15 min wait, but usually way less.
Enjoy your trip.

Updated the sticky, so bumping this up. Added www.myvegasadvisor.com for free chip collection.
If you're not playing, you should start, very easy to earn freebies. Even casual play should save you a few hundred dollars between 2 people.

Most of the decent rewards aren't available to locals (they don't even show up if you check while in Vegas). But for those visiting from elsewhere, there are still some decent rewards including 2-night stays at Aria or Vdara.

I use a VPN to change my location from Vegas to book an award while staying in Vegas.
As i remember, this works better on a PC rather than ipad or iphone. I guess the ios devices must leak a real location even with a vpn.

Last time I was in Vegas, I had access to all my rewards. I asked a few friends and they had the same experience. Do people still get restrictions?
