casino coffee

I've played in lots of casinos in AC and LAS, and it seems that the coffee one gets (from slot waitresses) while playing slots is excellent stuff--better than what I've gotten from many of the (so called:p) gourmet restaurants, do other FTer's agree?

I find coffee on the casino floor at Harrahs LV properties to be very good -- with OR without Baileys :)

For a long time, Bellagio used illy coffee - even on the floor. I think they switched to a worse brand this past year, but I know illy is still used in some restaurants/cafes and bars.

Best regular black coffee I've ever had was at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, IN.

True Story.

+1 The insider secret is to find out whether they serve cappuccino too, I love those although DW enjoy the regular, extra cream & sugar. It seemed to be a better brew than what they serve in their coffee shop or buffet, LOL.

I'm not a coffee drinker but will have a cup in the casino and it is pretty good.

Well, and the fact it's free helps a lot too...

Really, LOL - think about for a moment, it's "prepaid coffee" - served while you are playing the slots or at the table games, not free - but a small % of the rebate or payback for playing and ...

Sometimes, it is VERY expensive brew - like civet cat coffee beans from Asia, as my other half or DW (Dearest Wife) said.

My Favorite coffee can be found at Wynn & Encore.

As for a cappuccino. They bring it in a pretty clear cup with whipped cream on top if you ask, and a sock sugar stick for you to stir in.

Great for those 5 am late night gambling urges!!!

There are a few casinos that have great coffee (IMO). Bally's AC uses Douwe Egberts (a distinctive taste) that I like. A few other of the smaller locals joints in LV also have very good coffee. Some of the Stations properties are good as well.

I think the good part is that they cycle through them pretty often with all the orders so that the coffee is not sitting around too long.
