At the Wynn Tower Suites now... couple of questions
I'm at the Wynn right now staying at a Salon suite on level 39. I notice the elevator goes from floor 22-39, and then 50-60.
- What is on 50-60? And what's on Floor 60 (the big button)?
- Where are the rooms in the 40's? They aren't even listed.
- When checking in at the Tower Suites desk, I noticed we walked past a "for invited casino guest only" area that said RFB on it. What does that mean?
- What kind of Red Card points, coin-in, or play is a casino like the Wynn looking for in order to start comp'ing you future rooms (I have heard of people getting a "3 nights free" offer before on here).
Obviously I am new to Vegas so thanks for putting up with my newbie questions.
Thanks.

Hi,
There are no " 40s" floors ( I think it has something to do with 4 being a bad luck number in chinese)

I've never stayed at the Wynn but we are RFB at the MGM. It means Room, Food, Beverage - all of which are comped.
Most hotels have a general check-in area, an "invited guests" check in line, which is usually in the lobby and is for guests with some level of comp, and then there is usually a separate "VIP check-in lounge" for guests with higher level comps. Which check-in option you have is usually part of your comp offer.
I don't know how much play is required to start comps at Wynn as each hotel is different. You can ask to talk to a slot host and they can give you a brief outline of what kind of points it takes to get comped various things.

Funny, sometimes NO play will get you the Wynn three free nights offer, which happened to us. We speculate it had something to do with our casino host at Venetian leaving that property.

The floor numbering system is both to cater to the Asians and to make the hotel seem taller than it really is.
There is no telling what level of play will get you a room-only comp, or a room comp with dining credit (these are the most common offers).
One time I received an RFB (room, and unlimited food and beverages within reason) comp which could not possibly have been merited by my casino play. I was, and am, humbled and grateful and have never been able to figure out why. Maybe it was because I had played at the Desert Inn (the hotel-casino that was demolished to make room for the Wynn).
At the bottom of the Tower Suites elevators are the high limit and private gaming areas and you will be frowned upon if you traverse them.
Just gamble, if at all, at levels you are comfortable at and don't worry about future offers, they will come. To maximize your chances, or more accurately to minimize the house edge, read some good books or web sites about craps and blackjack.
