I'm starting to plan our wedding for Las Vegas this October. Does anyone have any leads one where to look out for discounts for Aria?

These resort fees are getting ridiculous.

Just returned from a weekend vacation to Aria. I've been several times and I really do like the hotel and have always had good experiences. This last one though was a little disappointed... I feel like they are false advertising "corner views" on ALL of their Deluxe King rooms. In fact you see it listed as an ammenity: https://www.aria.com/en/hotel/deluxe-room.html

I feel like this was a complete marketing lie and I don't understand why I didn't get the "corner view" that was advertised. They put me in an "odd" end room on an interior corner that was not like the others. How can they advertise an amenity that doesn't apply to ALL room, only some or most of them? It just disgusts me when companies make false and fraudulent claims.

I'm sure I could have complained and gotten a different room, but standing in line and making a big deal was the last thing I wanted to deal with, I just wanted to start enjoying my vacation instead of complaining about not getting the corner view that I paid for.
I'm attaching a picture of the view.

Ha! I can see at least two "corners" out of your window, of the adjacent window and building itself.

That's certainly not a typical room at Aria. I agree that the claim of a corner view in every room is a bit misleading but most rooms to have large windows with good views. I'd be quite unhappy if they stuck me in that room.

It's certainly one thing to get a room with a bad view. That happens.
But it's quite another to advertise a corner view and not give one. I don't think views of other corner views counts... LOL...

I guess it is technically a corner view since it is the view from a corner of the building. But being an inside corner (where two parts of the building meet) isn't quite what most people understand to be a "corner view". They probably designed these rooms for people who book on discount websites.

Yeah, except I didn't. I am an elite (Pearl) and I redeemed an offer they sent me. Pearl status is really nothing, but still...

I'm also Pearl and have never been stuck in a room that bad when redeeming an offer. Next time, call the front desk and complain. We did that once when our non-smoking room smelled like smoke and got upgraded to the Sky Suites.

I just spent a few days at Vdara and really liked it. The staff was super nice and I loved having a huge suite. I thought I wouldn't like not having a casino but I ended up loving that as well! Nice an peaceful and zen.

I would like it better if they had self parking. Otherwise I end up parking at Aria or Bellagio and walking and it is kind of a trek.

Aria and Vdara are my two favourite Vegas hotels. Vdara has bigger rooms for less money (unless you have a casino offer for Aria), but Aria has better pools. Vdara is only a 5-minute walk to Aria's casino, and Aria is so big that it can take you almost that long to walk from a corner room to the casino, even though you're in the same building.

I don't like gambling at Aria at all. Aria has bigger pools but the service at the Vdara pool was much better. Overall service at Vdara was outstanding...benefits of a small hotel I guess. And you can go the back way to Cosmopolitan (my preferred gambling place) in 5 minutes and walk through Vdara to get to Bellagio. Big convenience. Having a fridge in the room is nice too.

Staying here next week as a comp stay for the first time. Traveling with SO and two kids. Any tips or thoughts on things we should or are able to do while at Aria?

I like its central location, SO has always wanted to stay here but we generally get significantly better offers staying at MGM Grand or Park MGM. For example - FP at Park MGM offer $400, Aria $250 F&B at Park MGM $400, Aria $225. Also, we always get suites at MGM Grand or Park MGM but when booking only for a Deluxe room at Aria.

No idea what there is on property for hotel guests hoping for some amazing tips! TIA
