Introduction to Jin Air
http://www.jinair.com/Language/ENG/
Q: How does Jin Air keep the cost down? A: By allowing customers to completely manage their trip through the website and keeping labor cost to the minimum. Sorry, there is no phone customer service. Q: Can I obtain mileage by using SkyPass or other Sky Team mileage programs? A: No, Jin Air will use a credit system (Genie Points) that earns you credit towards future flights, like a Jin Air currency / discount system. Jin Air's points program does not work with SkyPass. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Current Events (In Korean). Jin Air- Will Try
I just booked on Christmas Eve trip to Jeju. I will definitly let you guys know how they are. There price do seem a bit cheaper than major ones (About 20-30%). But I hear no seating is designated. First come first serve.
I lookforward to it. |
Jin means real. It is a Korean word of chinese origin.
So JinAir means a real airline. Not a fake airline.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genie Sorry if this is going too far OT...but it is funny because when I saw the thread title that is what I thought too....that it was a reference to Jinn since they are suppose to be able to travel great distances very quickly... :) |
Great minds think alike!

Actually in Islam not all Jinn are bad, just like not all humans are bad. Jinn are a creation of God who, like humans, have free will so they can chose to be good or bad. This differentiates them from Angels who do NOT have free will and are created GOOD, so to speak.

They are ok compared to European LCA. The problem is that they are not really LCA. You'd have to really search hard to get some good prices. But I doubt KOR based LCAs will ever do any seats under $20-30 per one way. (They might for promos but not as often as others)
