Transit through ICN on separate tickets?
Hi all. I'm thinking about booking a
1. Delta MSP-ICN flight with points. lands 520PM at T2 2. a separate Korean Air flight from ICN-PQC departing 705PM from T2 (based on current flights) i have no checked bags. is that enough time and possible to do? i.e. would i have to clear customs, exit, and re-enter? and i'm assuming there will be a transfer desk post-security for me to obtain my next ICN-PQC boarding pass. (the reason for the split is because Delta doesn't offer the entire MSP-PQC flight with points, only to ICN.) |
For the ke flight, u can prob checkin online and get a mobile boarding pass.
At t2 after landing, go through the transit section before immigration. |

Yes, I've recently done this, no issues and plenty of time.

I have done this sort of transit at ICN before–flew CDG-ICN on AF, with a separate onward ticket to NRT. KE has a transfer desk right before transit security where you can request the boarding pass for your next flight. Like you, I had no luggage checked in, although they did ask if I had checked in anything with AF.
