Did SKYPASS system changes do anything?

For what it's worth, even if the "New Skypass" program had gone into effect as planned, all existing Morning Calm Premium and Million Miler statuses (achieved by the end of 2024) were going to be grandfathered as lifetime Gold and Platinum respectively under the new program, and whatever replaces this now-scrapped reform cannot be worse, so I presume we can safely assume a similar level of grandfathering as long as the statuses are reached within the next couple of years.

Oddly enough even after their scheduled system changes in March the website and app still only show morning calm information. The app still even tracks towards it. And the May magazine also still includes the old system.

Has there been any update of when the changes will actually be implemented?

All previously announced changes have been completely canceled. Any implementation of a new Skypass program is indefinitely postponed until further notice, and it will not be same as previously announced. I highly doubt any new Skypass program change will be attempted before the Asiana merger is fully completed, since they really cannot afford to go against the regulators or lawmakers overseeing the matter.
