KAL 1st time pax Q's

In a week I fly Delta One to ICN, 3 hr layover then KAL economy (biz was sold out) 737-900 to MNL. On return, KAL business 777-300 MNL-ICN, 14 hr layover then return Delta One. DL Platinum STE+.

Questions:
  • I've got a full size (ie, not international size) roll-aboard full of cameras/lenses/etc (pro video guy). Got hassled once on a intra-Euro flight about being oversized (though got the gate dragon to let me on with it, and it fit fine, but that's another story). Should I expect any size/weight hassles? (Given 737/777, I wouldn't expect it.)
  • Does KAL follow DL boarding zones? So as STE Elite+ I'd board in SkyPri, even in econ seat? If not, should I be concerned about gate-checking of econ pax carryons?
  • As a DL Platinum in Delta One, ICN lounge access are only KAL Prestige, correct? In T2 the East is better than West lounge?
  • any general KAL tips?
Thanks!

What is meant by full size rollaboard?
If u can carry it onto Delta, u can carry onto KE.
KE is quite lenient with carryon bags.

KE gives priority boarding to Elite+ members.
U will board before the economy pax.
Unlike USA airlines, there is always space on board for carryons anyway.

Lounge wise, if u have priority pass, u can also go to several other lounges.
Matina Lounge etc
Yes, on KE prestige, u can go into the KE prestige lounge.

In ICN airport, u can go on a free city tour on a long layover but u have to sign up beforehand.
There is also a cultural center inside the airport which lets u make free korean cultural items which is quite cool.

Thanks HawaiiO! The camera rollaboard I use comes in two sizes; international (35.6 x 53.3 x 20.3 cm) or regular (35.6 x 55.9 x 22.9 cm). But from your comments, it won't be a problem. I was a little concerned about the economy segment.

For the layover, I think I'm going to take AREX into town, then subway to the palace & Bukchon area. Drop carryon bags at a locker outside security.
