Help Maximizing Stopover/Open Jaws [Redemption help requests]
I am planning a redemption on KE but am wondering how to squeeze the most out of the stopover and open jaws.
I need to be in ICN and AKL so I'm going to book: DFW -> ICN ICN->AKL But wasn't sure if there was any option to add an open jaw for a later date. I thought open jaws could net you an extra one-way ticket. I need to be back in SE Asia in July, so I was wondering if there's a way to book either a flight from the US to SE Asia or vice-versa as part of this reward. Thanks for any help! |
Errors booking this route..
I'm looking to book an award in F
DFW-ICN ICN-SIN BKK-DFW 190K miles + 134 in t/f On various attempts - it shows as possible, on other days it gives me errors. Any thoughts on this? Are there other options for the return flight besides BKK? Can it be anywhere from a certain region? Thanks |
U can book two one-ways which is how u are booking it now?
One way is just half the roundtrip price assuming you are using KE miles. If there are errors, might mean not having award space on that day(though unlikely). |
You can, but you should call them and do it the old fashioned way for this multi city itinerary. Online will probably error out or just say nothing's available haha.

Call them. Much easier for the system since Korean Air is old school like that. Takes time, but will absolutely work instead of the website bugging out.

Maximizing this trip...
Hello - I am headed to from US to Seoul, Singapore, and Bangkok. I have 300K KE miles. In F, with stopovers it should be 190K miles - and fairly good award space. I was wondering if there was a way to add on to this trip or maximize it somehow - perhaps dropping to J and adding more destinations or something. Schedule for me is wide open. |
