Adding another data point to the mix...about 6 months ago the transfer from UR to Skypass took me <24hours. Friends of mine initiated a transfer last night and are still waiting. They chatted with Korean who said up to 4 weeks. They also spoke to Chase who said 24 hours. Most blogs I've read have said instantaneous. Go fig.

I believe 2-7 business days is the normal time now. |
I do a lot of transfers to Korean from Chase for award booking clients - it's typically taking 5-7 days.
Will be a moot point after the 25th though. I have mixed feelings - award bookings with Korean take me a lot longer and the pricing is expensive on Korean metal, but availability is much better than with most other programs. Hope that another transfer partner materializes or their US Bank partnership improves such that there are better welcome bonuses for the credit cards. |
