Award Flight Availability
 

I am looking to book an award F class from HNL to HKG at the end of December. Does Korean Air generally release more first class seat as it is closer to the departure date? Or once it's filled, there is simply no more availability?

I'm also trying to find 3x F-class on KE and having issues from both SIN-ICN and ICN-JFK. Everything I'm finding is 2 seats, which tells me that is the max they open up. Looking on expertflyer I'm not seeing any increased availability either, so curious to see what other people have observed/experienced.

I believe KE releases 4 F seats on the JFK route Tuesday-Thursday. Not 100% sure if this is still the case since they've made changes to their program but my family and I will be flying in F in a few weeks. We booked back in December.

I was trying to book Seoul-JFK one way for 4 First class and was told they only release two seats only for award redemption in each class on every flight. I am not sure if it's a recent change. Has anyone seen anything different?

About 1/3 of Koreans are Christians - Christmas is as busy a holiday there as it is here. You're probably better off looking at Chinese airlines for award availability around these dates.
