More KE miles for DL flights from May 2018

Cross post:
Improvement on earning KE miles for DL flights from May 2018

Now the new table is back online at KE website. From tomorrow, coincidently when JV goes in effect, we earn more KE miles for DL flights. Most Y earns 100% with a few (T X V E) 70%. Even BE (E class) earns 70%.

Yay!!!

Now, let's hope that DL will increase the number of DL miles awarded, AND ESPECIALLY MQMS, for most KE flights. Earning no status miles unless the KE operated flight is ticketed under a DL codeshare flight number is unduly restrictive, especially since so far few KE flights can be purchased as DL codeshares.

DL already posted there reciprocal Miles earnings and pretty much KE flights will credit on DL with mostly as 100% MQM earnings. Even economy discounted earns 50% base miles. Now I am wondering if I should stick with KE?

I’ll be crediting my domestic Delta flights to KE. Even at 70%, the transcon flights I buy will earn more with SkyPass.

Wow, this is the first good news I've heard in a long time that might encourage me to credit miles to KE. Last time I checked you couldn't earn any KE miles flying DL on any reasonably priced fares. UA wasn't much better when crediting to OZ, so I ended up choosing AA more often than not, even though my OW miles go for a long time without being used. At least with KE miles I have plenty of opportunities to use them. Guess I'll be flying DL mostly in the future for USA domestic flights.
