UR txfr to SkyPass NOT instant anymore...

This is sure to be a bummer. 2-7 day delay in points transfer when it used to be instant.

I've got a bunch of points from yesterday stuck in limbo now due to this.

No fun at all after being accustomed to instantaneous transfers all these years, especially on the heels of all the award space reductions.

I initiated a transfer a week ago (4/23). Now 4/30. Points disappeared from my UR acct instantly. Still nothing in my KE account. Previous transfers between these same accounts in February were instant. Sent a SM to Chase and they responded that they have 30 days to process the transfer. FAQ says "up to 7 days".

Same as well. Who do you call to ask about why it's taking so long? Chase or Korean Air?

I called KE and they said 7 working days so that's today, so I'll call tomorrow. I also talked to Chase and they also said 7 working days. So we'll see tomorrow.

On 5/3, the 8th business day after the transfer was initiated (4/23), the miles posted to my KE account.

Initiated 300k UR on Thursday 3am, points posted roughly around the same time Saturday, so 48 hours for me.

KE allows you to book the award flights prior to transferring the miles, and ticketing later. It makes it a no-big-deal.

Better yet, you can WAITLIST for an award, without having the requisite miles in your account. You'll be notified if it clears...at which point you can transfer in and then ticket once the miles hit. This has to be the most generous award policy I've ever come across...though it's offset by the irritating process for booking family members. I only use KE for solo travel, as a result.
