Using SkyPass to upgrade on KLM

I'm looking to go to Europe in April and have many Chase miles. I'd like to buy economy and then upgrade to business. Looking around at various transfer partners upgrade award charts. I found Korean Airs 35k rt upgrade to business from NA to Europe intriguing.

I'd like to fly on AirFrance or KLM to Europe, where would I find the UPGRADE award space on AirFrance or KLM.

Also what is the process of upgrading on the flights? Do I call Korean Air or is it online?

Double check the rules carefully before transferring any points/miles.

I suspect that 35,000 KE miles is the cost to upgrade on a KE operated flight.

You probably need a SkyTeam upgrade award, assuming that KE/KLM participate. It's likely to require a FULL Y fare class, which will be a very expensive coach ticket.
