Stopover rules on award reservations? Duration and luggage?

I'm looking to book an award ticket with a lot of luggage.
Is it possible to do a two-night stop in Seoul?

Also what happens to the luggage?
Is it possible for the airline to hold onto my check-in luggage?

*edit: I noticed that the correct term to use perhaps should be "stopover."

It seems that a two-night stopover is possible with just one award ticket, but for some reason, I'm only allowed 2 checked in baggages.
I thought first class reservation allows for 3?

The free baggage allowance depends on the region that you are traveling.

For example, if you are flying Korea ↔ to or from Japan/ or China/ or Hong Kong/ or Taiwan / or Macao/ or Mongolia, you are only allowed up to 2 free checked bags in first class.

Check out https://www.koreanair.com/global/en/...-services.html.

If you are stopping in ICN for 2 nights you will not be able to through check bags but will instead need to collect them at ICN, take through customs and re-check when you check in for the onward flight.
