Hi,
I am trying to book award tickets for two, LAX to DXB with a stop-over in ICN.
Korean Air website shows good availability but when I click the calculate button a pop up window comes up with the following message:

A System error has occurred while processing.

[ERT-4004]

With regard to your inquiry, we would like to inform you that you are able to redeem your miles for [Korean Air Award] ticket OR [SKYTEAM Award] tickets.

For [Korean Air Award] tickets, you are able to travel from [Los Angeles to Dubai] by transferring at Incheon for Korean Air operated flights with Korean Air flight numbers. However, based on the [Korean Air Award Chart] there are not Award tickets from [Los Angeles to Dubai]. Thus, in this case you will need to purchase 2 separate [Korean Air Award] tickets; round way ticket from [Los Angeles to Incheon] and round way ticket from [Incheon to Dubai].

The needed miles will be 70,000 miles for [Los Angeles to Incheon] and 70,000 miles for [Incheon to Dubai] during the Low Season for a Round Way ticket. Thus, the total needed miles will be [140,000 miles] with 2 separates tickets on Korean Air flights during the low season in economic class. In additions to the mileage redemption, award tickets are required payment of government-imposed and fees and carrier-imposed charges from $37 (for international travel).

For [SKYTEAM Award] tickets, you are able to travel from [Los Angeles to Dubai] with flights operated by SKYTEAM carriers; codeshares not applicable, by transferring at Europe depending of the carrier/schedule you choose. You will need [80,000 miles] for a round way ticket from [Los Angeles to Dubai] in economic class. In addition to the redemption amounts, award tickets require payment of government-imposed taxes and fees and carrier-imposed charges of from USD 5.

Please remind that SKYTEAM Bonus Award tickets applies only to round-trips and SKYPASS [Family Plan]; supplementing insufficient miles from immediate family member is not allowed. It is eligible for direct flights between origin and destination, allowing transfer flights for flight connections. Transfers cannot be made at the city of departure and destination and up to 2 transfers are permitted. One stopover (over 24hours) is permitted during your entire journey and is included in the number of transfer. One surface segment is permitted at the destination, and is not considered a stopover. There are blackout dates/flight restriction period depending of each airline partner regulations.

Due to seat availability and seat availability is not fixed we highly recommend our passengers to book their flights with advance time. Additionally, you need to have sufficient miles credited for your flights you want travel as miles cannot be combined with cash for [Bonus Award] tickets. You are able to book your flights by contacting Korean Air Reservation Center.
