747 Prestige Upper or Lower Deck
 
Any preference in sitting in the upper or lower deck in Prestige on a 747?

Only flown KE once in Prestige (CDG-INC) on the 747 and this was on the UD.

The UD feels very private and is also much more quiet than the LD so any seat would be to preferred upstairs...

+1 for UD on the 747. It feels more "prestigious" IMO.

Unless you are very tall, I would agree with the comments from above. On some configurations of KE 747s, there is an extra two inches of seat pitch on the lower deck prestige (58 vs 60).

I've never flown this sector on the KE 747, but on longer flights I've rarely had an unoccupied seat next to me on the upper deck.
