Award booking classes

Hi, does anyone here know what the award booking classes on KE would be for F and C awards using Skyteam partner miles (Flying Blue)? I have conflicting info of D or O for C class awards. Thanks for any help or advice.

KE had recently changed its Award Booking Classes.
The current ones are A/O/X (AKA A/CS/YS in the KVS Tool):

Thanks for that. After checking numerous dates on different routes I have to ask does KE ever have C class awards available? First class I do see though.

The ICN-Europe routes tend to have very good O availability, as there aren't many SkyMiles members trying to grab them. What routes are you checking? What dates? Where are you checking? If SkyPass would price the date as a peak date for that route, I don't think partners can have it.

I've been checking 2 routes, AMS-ICN and ICN-NAN, various dates towards the end of the year in September, October, November, just trying to get an idea of how much availability there is. I've been checking using the KVS tool, using the general availability but seeing no O class at all. Unfortunately KE flights don't feature on the Flying Blue award tool so it would mean a call to their helpdesk otherwise.

Sounds like you are not using the correct Method in the KVS Tool:

http://Help.KVSTool.com/#KE

[KVS Availability Tool 7.1.6/Diamond - WSpan: Awards/DL-SkyTeam/US-P]
Code:

AMS  Amsterdam Schiphol NL [EHAM]
ICN  Seoul Incheon Intl KR [RKSI]
SUN  01 Sep 2013 | 1 Seat

Carrier    Flight  From  Depart    To    Arrive    A/C  St  Availability
---------  ------  ----  --------  ----  --------  ---  --  ------------
KE        926    AMS  19:00    ICN  12:35 +1  332  0  CS+  YS+

I'd just try searching on delta.com, but if you've got KVS, you might as well give it a try with the correct search method, as KVS suggests. One problem you might run into is that the AMS-ICN and ICN-NAN flights aren't daily, so they don't seem to connect nicely. I know this posed a problem searching AMS-NAN on delta.com. I had to do AMS-ICN and then ICN-NAN selecting days when things run. The return just has an overnight layover, but no forced stopover. If you can take KL to somewhere that KE flies daily, that probably makes your options better.

I'd already got the schedules and would be including a stopover in ICN anyway.

Thanks for your help!
