No online seat assignment possible

I've must have tried every possible button the KE site, but it appears there is no way to add a PNR if you did not book with KE directly.

I have 2 trip seperate (Orbitz and Expedia) PNRs with a total of 6 segments all on KE but there is no way to bring them up.

Is the only way to get seat assignments to call-in to KE? What about walking up to my local airports KE ticket desk, could I get them to bring it up and get seat assignments that way?

I usually use the 'online chat' button; It only functions during certain business hours. My employer also doesnt book through KE directly so Ive had to do this quite frequently, but it always works.

Also, make sure you dont leave it till the very last minute because they lock the seat map at a certain point before the flight; in that case youll be forced to choose seats at the airport.

I would imagine calling is better than the ticket counter. Their wait times are usually very low.

If you're using Firefox; try with IE. I've found their website is buggy with Firefox.

this happened to me when i booked through a travel agent. i second mikesaidyes' suggestion of calling.

while koreanair.com is profoundly slow and buggy, i don't think the inability to pick seats on itineraries booked through 3d parties is a website problem.
