I have 30+K miles on Korean but doubt I will fly them any time soon. Can I transfer out miles or use them for something else like gift cards, magazines, hotel?

You can use them at any of their partner hotels or airlines, also the KAL Limousine service. You have to do it by telephone though and dont be surprised if the person you get on the phone does not know of the use. Your miles would get you two free nights at the www.waikiki
resort.com

I saw that chart on their site but they only have this waikiki hotel and hotels in Korea. Could have used one in Narita airport in 2 months

Use it on other Skyteam flights, say Delta or Alaska.
