GMP-CJU LCC vs KE/OZ
 

First trip to Korea and I'm planning on visiting Jeju.
Using google flights a ton of different LLCs that seem to be significantly cheaper than KE e.g. 36 USD for Air Jeju vs 150 KE. At the same time when you select to book on KE the prices are all different as well(significantly cheaper). Is there any substantial difference between the LCCs and the traditional carriers for these short domestic flights?

There is ZERO difference. The only "benefit" you get on Korean Air and Asiana is a non-alcoholic drink (juice, cola). 45 mins max, plane goes up and down and done.

The only "benefit?" You can fly a 747 or 777 for a 45 minute flight if you check your schedule right on Korean Air. From an AV geek perspective, that's fun.

Even in irregular operations, there are SO MANY planes going back and forth and in between you can be accommodated easily by all the carriers. You won't be stuck due to lack of flights, that's for sure haha.
