However, there is an ATM in the same floor run by KEB that charges 4000 won per transaction. It even offer to deduct my bank in US$ with some ridiculous exchange rate.

ICN has two terminals. Main and Concourse. For ALL arrivals, you will come out in the Main Terminal.

The third terminal will open in October. This terminal will be for Korean Air, Delta, Air France and KLM. It will have its own arrivals and departures area.

do not choose be billed in your home currency

always choose to be billed in local currency of the place where you are withdrawing.


the difference was significant when i took cash from an atm in hongdae.

Be also aware of DCC, Dynamic Currency Conversion.

Thanks for this post. Should have Googled before I used the atm that wanted to charge me 7000krw for 500 000krw. It was the one near the train center and information for Arex.

Searched a lot on the floor where we arrived but couldn't find any atms at all. Oh well. Lesson learned.
