I don't have the answers to all your questions but I will try.

1. Sure is. I think the kids will love it. But be prepared for the crowds on the weekend.

2. Not sure where to get discount tickets.

3. Perhaps the Lotte Hotel located just adjacent to the park would be an option? You could save a lot of time commuting to and from. Perhaps they give you a discount to Lotte World for staying at the hotel?

4. Take the Limo Bus from the airport direct to the hotel. You can find more infor here.

You can get discounts online, but only though Korean websites.

You can also see some older women selling discount tickets inside Jamsil station, but they won't speak English, and are probably not willing to do business with a foreigner (they are discrete as they are scalping tickets) and interacting with a foreigner will only draw attention to themselves.

They used to have a promo where if you donated an old mobile phone to charity, you could buy a discount ticket, but that was a couple years back, not sure if its still offered.

How old are your kids? There are 2 large amusement parks. One is more of theme park and other is for rides. Maybe someone could elaborate more.
