FD Blackout Dates
 

Guys,
Does anybody know where I can find blackout dates for FD bookings around the Christmas period? I am looking to book YYZ-FRA-BKK-RGN on *A and having issues so my Dad had offered his FD points which are set to expire.

I don't think there's any blackout dates as such but finding availability particularly during times of high leisure demand can be very difficult.

If your dads points are set to expire and there's a significant number of them then he can extend the validity by taking a single SkyTeam flight. As long as at least on qualifying ST flight is made every 3 years then the miles won't expire.
