What type of 737 will I be on?
I was just curious if there's a way to tell what series of Boeing 737 I will be on in March. I'm flying AMS-OTP-AMS on KLM. Every where I look it just gives 737 as the aircraft type.
Is there a way to find out what type I'll be on?

I don't think the type is set in stone. Layout wise they are all 3-3 in both Y and J (until last year the 739's had a 3-2 layout in J). I think all the 738 and 739's are now fitted with the revolutionary lightweight seating.

AMS-OTP is usually a full 739 on weekdays, a slightly emptier 734 at weekends, from personal experience. They do do select seating on the 739. Usually very good service on this route, too, I've always found the staff extremely helpful.

Yes, some of those 739s they use to OTP are up to six years old. They're so old, the IFE consists of a wooden cup and ball passed round the cabin.
