Train at AMS
 

Hi,

I will have to take the train from DUS-AMS and wonder if the Schipol train station is connected to the terminal?
How long does it take to get from the train to check-in?

The train station is IN the airport. You'll need to go up one level to checkin and the whole thing will take you 2 or 3 minutes. The signs are very clear.

I think you have to change trains at Amsterdam Centraal if coming from Dusseldorf. As an alternative you could change at Amersfoort and avoid the mess of centraal.

If taking the ICE you can change at either Duivendrect or Amsterdam Centraal.

Thank you very much for your information, when calculating the connction times I wanted to make sure how long it takes to get to the AMS trainstation from the terminal in DUS you have to take the skytrain which will eat up about 20 min til you aktually get to the station

Dont forget at Dusseldorf it takes a very long time from check in to the gate due to the awful and disorganised security set up there
