Hello Leo , Hello KLM

Perhaps I am getting something wrong, but is the whole avaition industry in a slump right now.
Every Airline has certainly noticed that, KLM seems not.

I am really waiting for huge promotion coming up very soon, at least double miles !!

And what about triple miles for special destinations, if all NA destinations are going bad, that would really light up the load factors.

To be honest, all the current promotions that not that exciting, 25 % off in off season is a deal, that should come along every november.

25 % off their fares from the Netherlands is nice for me( MST is 70 minutes away, AMS 110 , Eindhoven 60 ) but not of any interest for a lot of other FD`s.

So I am really hoping for something special, keep us all updated !!

I definitely agree with you! They are lucky that LH doesn't offer too much discounts too and that LH is a very hard airline to achieve status with (150.000 miles for *Gold is for the REAL Travel Pro's...).

I would be happy if they would cancel the need for Points on the connecting legs of award-travel to AMS - That makes award travel pretty expensive for me.

But I would be more happy about double mileage or at least a x.xxx Points for online bookings Promo (with a booking engine like LH and some affordable offers...).

They announced major improvements of KLM FD some months ago. Nothing to see...

And as the new "defecting from KLM"-topic shows they should not wait too long...

Let alone todays problems, I can't remember the last time we ever had a 'special offer'
in the UK...if ever...think about it, we even have to spend points to get to AMS if we want to go anywhere half decent. If only we could all go back to Northwest, (despite their ancient DC10's running out of Gatwick!)
