Rumor : AMS louge FB help desks
A Schengen Crown Lounge agent just told me that FB help desks will open in all the AMS lounges "soon". When I asked her what exactly that meant, she checked with her colleague, who said she had no idea, she had even heard that this major customer service improvement project might have been canceled again.
It sounds like a good idea, if it ever come to fruition.

The rumor I heard is similar to Johan. I think the problem is that the systems in the lounges cannot access any of the AF systems, which is where FB lives. So there would be representatives from FB in the lounge who can do little more than suggest you call the helpdesk (or write a letter). They'll need to figure that out before it's of much use.

The desks were manned when I went through AMS on the 9th (lounge nearer the F pier). Didn't realise they were new. Open M-Sa morning through late afternoon (didn't know the exact times). Have to ask when I'm there next if they can u/g any of my remaining YVR-BUH tickets.

Wonderfull. I'll check it out soon. Nothing like talking to a live person rather than being treated by a seemingly not to well working IT system. Sounds like customer care to me. Is there a change in the air after all this downhill stuff?

This sounds like a real improvement.
To the agent possibly reading this: Welcome to Flyertalk, you are more than welcome to post and answer questions when you feel that you can do so. If many of us seem to be quite negative on this board, this is because many of us have been loyal KL or AF flyers for many years, and have seen many negative changes. This might have affected the attitude some of us have towards FB - and we all know not everything is bad.
If you can personally help us make FB a better customer experience for us, at least by doing away with some of the inconsistencies we are faced with when calling the call center, that would be just outright wonderful.

Shoot. I was looking forward to using an instant helpdesk to recover some forgotten miles for NW flights, but my upcoming trip is on Sunday both ways
Anyway, can you claim missing miles for other airlines in here when you bring ticket and boarding passes?
