What kind of earphone jacks are in the economy seats of the KLM 747 combi?

Single pin?

Dual pin?

Tubes?

Are earphones free on IAH-AMS?

I believe the double-pin in Y, double-pin + third pin for noise reduction headsets in J.
Yes all free.

Your remark about 'tubes' reminds me of the eighties, when, indeed if you turned up the volume you could hear the music without headphones.
I wouldn't say "good old days" but fun nonetheless!

jetfan is correct. dual in coach and 3 prongs in WBC.
no tubes :D
