KLM and I subclass
 

Just bought a standard non promotional return MAN to SIN on KLM .com in C on KLM and recieved the e ticket to find that it is in sub class I. This does not seem to exist on aow for KLM and is a first for me. Wher does I fit in??

Interestingly booked a reward ticket for the other half same flights on KLM.com and has come back in D. Also this one is retrievable on checkmytrip and issued by AF whereas my revenue one is not.

"I" is discounted business class.

I have always been used to CDZ on KLM...Its still fully flexible / cancelable etc...

Your right Simon, I'm thinking of "Z" not "I" (note to self ensure brain is in gear before opening big gob).

Never seen I listed as a fare code for KLM as well. :confused:

What date is it for an I (no pun intended but feel free to laugh out loud) will have a look with the KVS tool?

14th sept; ok a bit in advance but its the m in laws 70th!

AF admisiter FB so all award tickets are now issued by them hence your wifes booking is viewable and yours is not.

Can't find a fare code anywhere on KLM for "I" class. :confused:

Using the KVS tool only Galileo shows "I" class availability for numerous dates. :confused:

Try the AF site for "I". This reward ticket will have been issued by AF and not KLM now that AF run FB. That's my best guess as to why it's not showing on KLM.

No mention of an Award ticket for the "I" class fare, Simon bought the ticket.

A couple of months ago, KL anounced new lower C price levels. If you look at expertflyer, there are three classes. C is full-bore, Z is as it always was, and I is the new "holiday" fare, which seems a bit lower than Z.

Sorry my erorr - it was the other ticket that was a reward ticket this was purchased.

Note to self - pay attention!
