KLM Changes Fare Basis from NW
I recently booked a KLM flight on NW.com for an intra-europe trip in which appeared to be class L and N on the flights. My SkyTeam carrier does not credit N fares on KLM, so I was a bit dissapointed, but it was cheap enough. However, when I received my boarding pass, I noticed I was in class M on both flights. I'm not complaining now, but how does this happen?

Sorry to dissapoint you
The boarding pass doesn't print the real booking code, it normally is 'M' or 'Y' for economy, and 'C' for business.

There are many more booking casses than seating classes. Your booking class may be any of the base V, N, H, etc. booking classes - but your seating class (as indicated on the boarding pass) will be M.
Jerene (M for cattle class, that is) |
