KLM Plus

According to KLM.com:

"Participants in the KLM PLUS program still have lounge access until June 1, 2005 when flying KLM or partner airlines regardless of your class of travel. Or, why not redeem your Flying Dutchman Miles for lounge vouchers which can be used when traveling in any class of service"

OR bring your own sandwich and a drink and sit in any of the great seats in the airport itself ^ which are far more comfy than the KLM lounge. :td: I will be back in the lounge this Friday and I bet its packed as always with the usual awful snacks and drinks. I will be there from 13.00 to 14.30 if there is anyone who wants to meet up for some healthy cheese with a great tasting cup a soup. :D

Or if you must have lounge access at AMS (regularly), get yourself a Diners Club card. The Menzies lounge is very comfortable if a little light on the drinks/snacks. I prefer the Globalground (Priority Pass) lounge myself as they don't object to me brinking food in from the nearby Burger King :).

I took a quick look at the KLM lounge yesterday and wan't impressed. It was just a little too crowded/noisy for me :td: :td:.

Just called the klm+ service desk...

They'll send out letters about this, and will reimburse part of the money or miles used to get the KLM+ card. Also, there'll be five Crown Lounge vouchers sent to people. (Or at least, that's what a lowly still-blue+/Ivory gets.)

If it wasn't for the long-haul flights already done (or booked) on KLM/AF this year, this would be a good occasion to change to Star Alliance, and get an Air+ card.

It appears all the klm plus links are down.............

No more info. :td: :td: :(
