Can someone please explain this?
How can a WBC seat on the upper deck of a 747-400 in a 12 hour flight AMS - LAX cost less miles on award ticket than a Europe-Select seat on a 737-900 in a 4 hour flight AMS - TLV?
Any hidden logic behind it? :) |
The logic is simple, if someone is crazy enough to pay for ES on a Europe-Middle East flight either with cash or miles then why not take their hard earned currency.

Same applies to coach as well (athough the seat difference is not that rapid)

Logic? Can't find it. Sounds crazy to me.
It probably has to do with the zoning system of the FD programme. The good news is the same applies to the WBC seats in the downstairs front section, not only upperdeck of your LAX-AMS flights. Far better in fact, but tastes differ. |
