Food in C, AMS-BGO

Can anyone tell me what sort of meal would be served on an evening flight in C, AMS-BGO?

Am making this flight next week in Y, but....

1) Have sufficient points to upgrade
2) Won't be in Bergen before 10pm
3) Don't want to go hungry because of (2)
4) Food in Norway is expensive
5) C7 D7 suggests there's space available....

Any thoughts/comments appreciated

I can't comment on the food but....

Flight can only be around an hour and a half so I would not waste the miles to "upgrade". Just grab something in AMS or take something along with you would by my suggestion.

Well, it's under the 135 minute cut-off, so I'd expect a small cold meat salad and a mini chocolate torte thing. Certainly not enough to fill you up.

If you have the transfer time, I'd recommend heading upstairs in 'Lounge 2', where there's a decent Thai/Indonesian place in the food court.

If you really have a fair bit of transfer time, I hear good things about the new sit-down restaurant over the Schengen side.

Failing that, a baguette flambée from Délifrance always goes down well.

Really, I wouldn't upgrade on any intra-European flights these days. The food is not worth it, and Y exit rows beat any Europe Select seats.

Thanks all...

We have a 90 minute transfer, so time might well prove to be a bit tight (esp. since we're flying in from LHR and it'll probably take us 45mins just to get to the runway  )

When does online check-in open for these flights?

Should be 30 hours out but sometimes this is not always the case.

Take into account you need to go through passport control in AMS to transfer into the Schengen area.

How about getting a really good indian take away delivered to you at LHR, ask for it to really well wrapped and then get stuck into it on the flight to Copenhagen. I would love to see the FA's face when you did this and also ask for a plate to put it on ?? :D you coiuld even bring your own Cobra beer
