LAX-AMS Aircraft Q's

LAX-AMS Aircraft Q's

I'm flying LAX-AMS May 25th. It says 747M, can anyone shed light on this aircraft and it's amenities. I'll be in WBC and hope there is power in the seats but have a feeling this is "Classic" (ghetto) WBC"....

Should I try to change my routing and connect in DTW so I can experience a A333?

Any tips are appreciated.

The 74M is a 747-400SCD, i.e. a combi.

No in-seat power in WBC, but I would hardly describe it at a ghetto. In fact, both the nose (rows 1-4) and upper deck cabins are spacious. Pitch is 60". Seats do not recline fully, but are comfortable enough, assuming everything works. Technical problems are frequent and seat maintanance is not a KLM priority. Service, foods etc. varies from mediocre to good.

Favorite seats : 4F, 4E, 77AK. Opinions vary. Do a search.
