The Complete Guide to the KLM Fleet
After the Complete Guide to the Air France Fleet, here’s the equivalent guide for the KLM fleet.
Since the old wiki has become outdated and is more of a historical seat map archive, I took the time to compile a new wiki covering the current fleet, including aircraft registrations and seat configurations. There’s been less structured tracking of Wi-Fi status and cabin layouts over here compared to what we have on the AF subforum. With the 777-200s and 787s currently undergoing refits to add an extra row of Premium Comfort seats, we could definitely use the forum’s collective knowledge whether from other threads or updates posted here to keep track of configuration changes. It would also be helpful to share updates on Wi-Fi availability/functonality, especially now that KLM has announced free Wi-Fi on short- and medium-haul flights. This is very much a first draft and not yet complete, I'm looking forward to the community’s input to help keep this wiki as accurate and up to date as possible as more aircraft get retrofitted, equipped with Wi-Fi and added to the fleet. |
I hope you got AeroLopa's permission!

Update 1.1: Added the preliminary seat map for the new A350-900 scheduled to start operating by the end of 2026
|
If you are travelling in Economy on the A350, the sweet seats appear to be 21ABC, 21JKL, and 20DEH as these will have more legroom. The standard Economy seats will have a 30” pitch so these will very likely become highly sought after

There is a new Embraer 195-E2 config coming, a retrofit with four additional seats
|
I cannot edit the Wiki myself, so here some additions/proposed changes:
Retrofitted 772s are now (might be more done, as they move fast): PH-BQA, PH-BQB, PH-BQE, PH-BQF, PH-BQH, PH-BQI, PH-BQL, PH-BQO On the 737-800: PH-BXA, PH-BXB, PH-BXC, PH-BXD, PH-BXE, PH-BXF, PH-BXH, PH-BXI, PH-BXM, PH-BXN are all without Wi-Fi and have SL3710 (fabric upholstered) seats through out. The other 738s all have Wi-Fi and have BL3710 row 1 to 6, and SL3710 in the other rows (these also have the space bins, for more cabin luggage storage). PH-BXG withdrawn from service per start S26 season. |

I believe all 772s will be retrofitted by the end of this month. The pace has been quite fast, and KL's “by April 2026” timeline looks realistic given the current retrofit speed. |

Can confirm PH-BQC and BQK are now also equipped with 4 rows of W :)
|
Thank you both for the input!
I'm wondering wherher at least one 772 won't get the retrofit as the A350 is scheduled to arrive late summer and start operating by Q4. If it immediately replaces a 772 it feels like a waste to install a 4th row for less than a year in operation. |
Update 1 June:
PH-BXA, KLM's oldest 738 has left the fleet. It was flown to Spain to be scrapped according to skyline-aviation.de. |
