Question on one passenger skipping return leg
Hi all, i’ve skipped a few (<5) legs in the past, but the first time i’m facing the following situation: I’ve flown AMS-XXX with Ms ok986. It turns out that Ms ok986 will not be returning with me on XXX-AMS. I’m tempted to check her in, and enjoy the empty seat next to me (which we already paid for).
Am I likely to run into problems this way? Should i check only myself in? FWIW, i’ll be checking in one suitcase. any advice would be welcome. |
Each passenger has their own ticket even if they are on the same reservation. You yourself will be unaffected by whatever you copassenger does.

Even if you check her in, she will be no show and her check-in will be cancelled as soon as boarding is finished and her seat can be given to someone else if needed.

Just make sure your suitcase is really on your own name. Sometimes with multiple pax in one PNR check-in agents are wrongly labelling suitcases. Should not be the case if pax 2 doesn't show up with a passport in front of the agent, but you never know.
