Mixed cabin return
Looking for advice… I’m trying to book a flight from the UK to USA with AFKLM in a mix of cabins - e.g. I want to fly out in economy and then return in premium economy (as I might have a chance of getting some sleep that way). I managed to book the same itinerary with mix of cabins as recently as February, but I can’t manage to book it on the KLM app or the website now. The options force me to select same cabin each way, and then if I try and amend one leg before payment, I get told there’s no availability in that cabin on the date I want.
It’s v frustrating - is this a matter of policy, or just a tech glitch? any workarounds or suggestions welcome. |
You must make sure to select the same type of fare for both legs. For example, you cannot combine Light with Standard, but if you pick Economy Standard it will let you select Premium Comfort or WBC the other way.
