Upgrade option doubles on selection

I searched for a better thread for this, but OLCI upgrades are all I could find, and this is not OLCI.

I am flying YUL to GLA soon, and I hit the "upgrade your flight" option on my booking. Wanted to see the cost right now to upgrade to business. I was offered the upgrade at $473CAD. A nice deal, so I clicked to accept and I was taken to the payment page. Where there was a note saying the price had increased, by about $700CAD. I do have a screen shot of the offer.

Is this a known issue?

I did not pay for the upgrade, and now the upgrade your flight option has vanished completely.

I wonder if it is to do with a display error where they display euro in CAD? I think think 473EU is about 700CAD.
