Privilege Style operating for KLM
(sorry if this topic has been discussed here, I could not find any mention to it)
I got an email from KLM to let me know that one of my connecting flights in the coming weeks will be operated by Privilege Style S.A. I had never heard of this airline. The email explains that the plane, cockpit and cabin crew will be from Privilege, while the catering is KLM and our booking class and Flying Blue level benefits remain the same. Any experience with this airline? why would KLM need someone else to fly them to MAD? (such as usual sector) https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...0b108faa4e.png |
KL(C) is wetleasing some aircraft due to the continuing issues with their E295 fleet.
Seems like one of them is an A321 from Privilege Style. So passengers can already get used to KLM's future A321s It seems Transavia is also wetleasing a 757-200 from them: Transavia has started deploying additional aircraft on a wet-lease basis. This week's deployments include an Airbus A320 from Germany's Sundair and a Boeing 757-200 from Spain's Privilege Style. |
Got the same email. I like being priviliged and having style.

KLM already used us to prison food, so that's in line with the dirextion of service. |

Any experience with this airline? I was not very happy because I was in J and it replaced the planned B787... But it's not so bad. The (only ?) A321 (EC-NLJ) is in perfect condition and crew was nice. |

But that's not to say that P6 are only replacing KL on (some) Spanish routes; these wet lease operators will typically operate anywhere in the world, as required. |
I got the same but on a flight to BLL. They also moved the departure up by 10’.

any experience with the business? just noticed that my sep flight to mad got changed to this. row 1 shows as extra legroom, so assuming it's still the typical 3-3, can't find many pics.
also, should I be worried about this crediting to delta? j |

Today it operates AMS-MAD with a 3+ hour delay (not sure if it's because of the plane or some other issue). There are some delays overall around Europe at the moment.

I flew them two weeks ago. The flight was also delayed but so was my flight to AMS so I'm actually happy that happened.
I don't know about business class (which they had). I flew in row 6 (economy) and thought that the seat pitch was particularly bad. I am a 1.69m woman and never before had problems to cross my legs when sitting, except many years ago with XL Airways maybe. Here I couldn't cross my legs without stabbing my knees with the table in front. This translates into taller people and men in particular not fitting into their seats. The airline also used a remote stand in MAD (jet bridge in AMS at the very end of C) so we all had to wait for the busses to get to the terminal when arriving, which sucks when you land late at 1am. Food service was regular KLM, but it felt a step down. |
