I have no idea why it would have been delayed.

Do have a question for you. You had opened a thread 10 days ago about another AMS-SFO flight being cancelled. You also mentioned you would be flying that in a few weeks time. Are you anxious your flight will be cancelled and therefore your keeping an eye on all the flights in the weeks/months ahead of your departure?
Believe me, if KL has the flight scheduled, it is their 100% intention to have that flight operate and be on time. If they don't there can be financial consequences for KL.

If I was you, I would not look at the flights departing before your flight as it says 0 about your specific flight. One thing I do often do, on the day of departure to AMS, look if the your aircraft departed AMS on time. This gives you a bit of an idea if you will depart on time. However even if it is a delayed departure they can make up time in the air.
Looking up any other day is pointless.

Share your intention and possibly we can assure you.

Thanks. Going on a cruise. Flying in same day which I never do, although boat stays overnight. Connecting in Ams to Bergen with 2.5 hour connection time.

The KLM website when looking at flight status for the flight that day says the delay was caused by "technical issues" with no more information than that. It seems to be a one off occurrence.

That’s always risky, regardless of airline or routing. You seem to know that’s the case.

We were on the flight. It was delayed due to a computer issue. From what we were told they tried to replace it, but were unsuccessful, and deemed the flight okay to go (after lots of paper work). The big fail was lack of communication from the pilot. He did two updates for a 3 hour delay. We misconnected to CPH, only to find out they canceled the next flight. We then were re-routed AMS-BRU-CPH, and was late 4 hours and 2 minutes, which is perfect for EU 261.

Flight had excellent flight attendants in biz class. The food and wine offerings were dismal.....

It is not an airline you fly for the wine and dine experience.
