S>NS no security check
NS>S no security check for arrivals from safe countries, mainly USA, UK, Canada. Otherwise transfer security. There have not been any reports on that topic lately, whether good or bad. |

From S to NS, just passport check no security.
For the state of the queue check the post immediately above yours, among others. |

Thanks. That's good there's no security from safe countries, as I'm planning a NS (UK) >S connection with only 1 hour -- thought that may still be a bit tight I guess... I guess there is no priority line for passport control.

From a punctuality perspective Monday was an absolute disaster.
https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3625cd87c0.png Red = arrived at least 60 minutes late. Most of those flights were delayed a lot longer than that. KL aircraft and crew scheduling must be a right mess. Johan |

Situation is really impredictable then....Friday evening bad, Saturday evening empty....Next flight Tue 18:00-ish, will start lighting candles...
I still can't believe Schiphol hasn't even set up some sort of live update system for passengers to know what to expect ahead. Terrible crisis management really... |
FWIW this morning I took 2 passengers to RTM at 7:30 for a 10AM flight. They were HBO and in the BA lounge before 8AM.
There are tents set up outside the terminal but it was super quiet. |

A friend arrived @ AMS last night around 11:15pm and had to find his way through piles of suitcases that somehow had lost contact with their owners. |
At least some of them were marked OS372. I initially thought whether they might not be from the Friday evening cancelled flight but that was 376. 372 has not been cancelled recently... But maybe it left unloaded?
Either case, not good. I've checked out passport control today. Transfer full, but not unusually so. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...db71cca8d1.jpg Arrival control from what I could see very manageable. E-gates open in both. |

Just go in the night before, and sleep on the floor, to be sure, or do they lock the airport overnight? :p

Mr FlyingBlonde was on a 9.30am flight and said the line was the worst he'd seen but it moved relatively quickly once he was in it (overall 1 hour approx to clear everything for a non-schengen flight). He's silver and was turned away from the priority area (he said it was heavily guarded and lots of other passengers were also turned away).

What?! The Skypriority check-in area is also explicitly for Silver/Elite members.

I was a little confused about this too... I realise that Silver isn't SkyPriority but I also thought it was correct that Silvers' use this area. He was turned away (perhaps they were checking boarding passes for the SP red square?)- will get a debrief from Mr FB after he's out of the chaos of his arrival airport. (In case there's any question, he was on a KLM flight.)
