I'm flying AMS-ZRH-YVR later this summer, have *G through AC. When do I go through passport control, when I leave AMS?

Is the priority line accessible to me as a *G?

Thanks in advance

Itís seems their IT is broken between BA and Verifly so, even with the Verifly green pass, you canít check in online. I had exactly this on a AMS-LHR-SAN the other week. You have to see BA at the check in desk to get your boarding pass. Coming back Verifly is not the tool, instead the Salesforce upload is used to upload vacc cert and vacc declaration for NL. Once docs approved, I was allowed to do OLCI for SAN-LHR-AMS.

we came to AMS this morning around 4:45a. I am Emerald which allowed me to use the side line for British Airways desk. Checked in there without issue after 15 mins. Got to security around 5:10a. No lines. There were 5-6 people in front. We got through everything faster than it took us to get coffee. Bag check lines were bad at BA so we were fortunate.

There's no passport control when flying AMS-ZRH since both departure and arrival airports are in the Schengen area

And to his credit (or perhaps his mentor's), this trainee sent almost nothing to secondary. He did run several trays back and forth through his scanner for a second look, but that's the way to learn and take responsibility.

Perhaps CPH should start training AMS security staff.

FD Magazine has Lost the Plot, Missed the Boat, & Can't See the Forest for the Trees

Wonder what the baggage handlers, other ground staff and security agents think?

KLM's Head Honcho Holland hasn't asked them either.

This magazine, which is not much more than sponsored commercial content from cover to cover, is beginning to get on my nerves with their incessant harping on sustainability and greenwashing of everything, regardless of color.

besides that, they're written and printed months in advance. The June edition was written in March, explaining not being aware of the mess in AMS.

This was in the June edition, dated March 11th

You could say the same for the permanent eco-blabla brainwashing in all media on all subjects. A word that I can't hear anymore is "responsible". You need to buy, eat, poo, travel, etc-responsible, meaning that you are irresponsible if you don't fall in the "expectations". Of course there are some very good things in some acts and measures but the immense majority of the speeches are just total BS. I know I am getting OT... ;)

You'd love it here, where we make a conscious effort to do everything in the most destructive and wasteful way possible.

I am flying non-priority on KLM from AMS - IAD on Sunday. This is the return flight for my itinerary. I just want to confirm: if I have no checked bags, do I need to go to a KLM counter at all, or just do security/passport? The reason I am asking is because when I flew out of IAD, I had to wait in line 90 minutes to check in at the KLM counter for them to look at my passport even without having bags to check, but it sounds like at Schiphol, the airline check-in personnel do not do that so I do not need to wait in line for someone to examine my passport -- is that correct?

Also, I can just show them my boarding pass on my phone, I don't need a printout, correct? Sorry for the rookie questions! Thank you in advance for your help, and for all the great information here about the whole airport mess!

Phone BP will suffice. Assuming KLM doesn't want to see you to verify Covid documentation, you can proceed directly to security and Immigrations. Well, you can join the end of the line and proceed slowly

There is a passport check coming from Schengen to Non-Schengen. And the possibility of a random security check.

Speaking of S>NS passport control. Does anyone have any updates on the current situation around 10-11 AM?
