Opening hours for July will be 07:00-12:00. For August it still has to be decided.

Also they don’t provide newspapers anymore and the smoking room is closed permanently.

Yeah, the whole world knows what a terrible source of contagion newspapers are. That not providing them anymore also saves money is entirely coincidental.

The sandwiches I had are much better nowadays since the staff is preparing my plate. Very quiet this morning, very friendly welcoming staff in for a chat. Self service alcohol indeed.

Staff confirmed the Lounge 25 refurbishment is finished in 2 weeks from now.

Open 7am-noon

New part of the lounge

Happy Hour and sandwich prepared by staff

Fully agree - I had this sandwich this morning in the Schengen lounge and it was very, very good. Better than what I had at the NS lounge yesterday (a miserable slice of bread with some spread on it + an apple).

I also visited the Privium lounge this morning. To compare the breakfast offer: Privium did better on juices and yoghurts but the Schengen lounge won the day on croissants and sandwiches.

For anyone who's been to both 25 and 52, any thoughts on which to use if you're transiting N-S to Schengen and therefore have access to either? I'll be passing through Saturday morning. Sounds like 25 might have a better sandwich according to HalconBCN, but are the food offerings otherwise similar? Are showers open in either lounge? If 52 is better, I'd leave extra time for immigration. And I assume either of these lounges would be better than the Aspire one?

Showers are definitely open in the Non-Schengen lounge. Based on this thread, I'm not sure there's much of a difference between the two lounges at the moment but food offering may be better in the Schengen lounge.

Currently sitting in the NS lounge. Not busy but also not empty. Soup, lentil dish, sandwich or fruit cups are on offer for the food. The staffed bar seems to have all the normal drinks. Pretty standard lounge experience. Edit: I can add that the sandwich was very good.

On paper yes, the lounge is open until 12:00.

That said, they started packing up food and beverage offering at around 11:15 today, so keep in mind that service is a bit limited for the time being - and you won't find snacks in the lounge when food service is not operating.

Edit: Also, Schiphol Airport didn't take advantage of Covid to repair the Concourse B electric walkways. As of today, just 1 out of 6 is operating. Account for some buffer time if your flight departs from there.

Non-Schengen lounge as of today: the entire lounge space is open for use, including upstairs and terrace. Food: there are 2 choices of sandwiches (cheese or salmon) + 2 choices of a warm dish (chilli sin carne, and soup). Bar open only downstairs. Only the coffee and water machines are self-service. No snacks or nuts (including at the bar).

Privium now offers a menu, you order at the counter and the food is then brought to you.

At lunchtime today there was a choice of two soups, two salads, three sandwiches, two hot dishes, two desserts and a selection of cocktail snacks. Everything prepared in their own kitchen using fresh ingredients.

Very tasty, high quality: tomato & bean soup; sandwich with beetroot hummus, feta and veggies; tomatoes stuffed with spicy couscous.

Here are some additional photos after visiting the Schengen for the first time - after the renovation and in current times. In general, very pleasant visit with a moderate filled lounge during breakfast time.
To me - KLM did a great job in current times with the food and beverage offerings. I sat in the old dark TV area - which has now been opened up but sadly with the old furniture showing the age (and all electrical outlets labelled out of order).
Cheers!

I have really been scouring the pics in the posts above for a mouse. Those pics that show a lot of floor space are inviting me to search for the resident mouse. They might have been starved out of existence by now, though.
