that's a relief, although I do enjoy the interior of Crown 52 and pre-COVID food options better...

deserve to be made a public example and fired. Everyone makes mistakes at work, its not like they threw him in jail.

Only Government apologists.

Only Government apologists can trot out the argument that such a profound and gross mistake like questioning the rights of citizens to enter their country can be a simple mistake. That was a stupid retarded mistake and if the supervisor were't there, the pax may have been in trouble. Governments are for the people, not rulers of the people. If a Government lackey makes a mistake, they should pay for it. If they don't like it: they can always go and do something else: dog catcher for example.

Yes only 07h12 noon, klm operates 90% of its short haul flights ( 1 departure block) currently around these times.
most flights will depart around 09h.
The amount of destinations is back to 80% or so the frequency is low though , 1 x a day some exceptions eg major cities like BCN/MAD/FCO /LHR will have more and some leisure destinations at weekends, eg double daily on saturday to IBZ/ALC/AGP

I have an almost 4 hour connection in the afternoon on the 7th of July. Any word if the NS lounge still will be accessible for Schengen connections when the Schengen lounge is closed?

Or, anyone can use the NS Lounge from earlier on as well. I found L52 open from 7 AM.

Anyone as in there is a process where passport control officially lets you through to visit the lounge or just based on the mood of the military police agent of the day?

I was connecting from one long haul to another: so I went in direct. The lounge was open at 7 am and I saw some people come later in and ask if they could use this lounge as they wanted to use this one and not the S area lounge. They were allowed in.

The ''refurbished'' Schengen Lounge 25 opened again this morning. No buffet anymore, one has to wait in line and order food. Drinks are still selfservice, plenty of alcohol available in contrary to inflight.

Thanks Xizm!

It's sad to see that the Schengen lounge followed the trend of disappearing self-service food options.
Have you seen wether opening hours are back to normal?
