Gate A9 at AMS ?

I'm flying into AMS with a short connection time
(TLV-AMS-DTW).
I can see that my incoming arrives at gate "A9" - doesn't appear on any maps.... Any idea where this is ?

TLV flights often end up at a gate on the Schengen side or a hard stand and then you are being bussed to the non-schengen arrivals.
That being said I'm not sure where you've seen A9 or what's the relevance of it, you have no way of knowing where a certain flight will arrive tomorrow or any other day.

Flightaware shows arrival at A9 for most previous flights

"A" gates are bus gates.

Gate A9 does not exist, though aircraft stand A9 might. I would guess you arrive at a bus gate.

Connecting at AMS - Bus Gate A9

...and reporting back.

A9 is indeed an "external" gate where the bus stops on the tarmac, with an escalator leading up to a walkaway to the gates. This is annoying and does add on some time to the connection. I did make my connection, timing as follows:

Landed on Thursday at 09:20 (on few minutes early)
10 minutes of taxiing
15 minutes to disemabark, including waiting for the bus, until arrival "gate" A9
10 minutes to get through the terminal to E17, including security (security was empty, and the ten minutes include light jogging...)
