I had to hope for a similar change in Detroit when I noted I was a few degrees off. Looked also at MSP and saw the same deviation but did not know obviously that the runway numbers had changed there...But then there has to be a difference between evangelists and mortals like me ;-0. Look forward to the next challenge.

Yeah, that was a devious clue.
Right, I'm really scraping the bottom of the barrel here.
I'll admit it, I didn't take this picture. I'm the one hiding behind my boarding card. Aircraft is an AN-24W.
Domestic flight, flight time just under an hour (amazingly, that's still the case 45 years later). Departure airport was then still dual use civilian/military. Tickets back in those days came without such unimportant details as the passenger's name.
Note the ticket price. About 10% of average gross wages back then. If I remember correctly, a loaf of white bread was 4 zł.

No not Singapore, you can tell from the types of colors of the taxi's. Anyone from BKK will recognize. And indeed, it is BKK, not Don Muang....over to MichielR! And 257 Singapore $ for a taxi ride would be a bit steep, not? Took the pic for the cost claim since taxi driver had no receipts left...
