Bluey Plush Toy
A bit of a strange question/request, but we have wanted to get this Bluey plush toy from KLM and were going to order it on an upcoming flight. However it appears that shop.klm.com has discontinued it now so we cannot order it.
By any chance would anyone have noticed this just in a physical shop at AMS (or be looking for a distraction on a long layover)? We'll have a short layover and not much time to search around, but certainly enough to go to a shop or two if we have a specific place we know we need to go. There are of course some available on eBay, but seems silly to pay shipping if we can just grab one in AMS. Here is what I'm talking about: https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-KLM-Air...8AAOSwVEhc3JR4 https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...50a3fc5564.jpg |
You mean something else than this ? https://shop.klm.com/nl_en/klm-bluey...on-wheels.html this is still available

That's a child's wheeled backpack. OP seems to want a stuffed animal.

I've just visited the toy shop 'let's play' at the end of the D pier on the way to the E pier.
They had one on display for Eur22.95. Good hunting :) |

There's also a shop landside, if you have time and can't get it airside.

Because KLM announced to stop in-flight sales I think they will get rid of all items.
I have seen disappearing trolleys and beauty-cases in the last few months while they launched just few weeks ago a limited-edition of trousers (well advertised via Instagram with fashion bloggers). Anyway some memorabilia can still be found on airport shops (air-side but also landside) while, if you really look for something rare you may ask to a specialised shop which is just 10mn by car from Schipol. Its name is Aviation Megastore and they have a website which I dont know if I can advertise here. Eventually look for it and write them before you go there. They can keep reserved goods for free until pickup . You can do the same with airport shops but only if you return to Schipol. Alternatively the best is the free delivery on board...obviously if the item is still available on shop.klm.com |

First flight through is coming up soon, then again a few weeks later on the return. Hopefully we will find it on one of our passes through AMS. |
Just reporting back. Flying home from AMS today. We easily found the toy in question at a Schengen side toy shop when we arrived a few days ago, so we just bought it then to be safe (there were only four on the shelf).
But all worked out in the end. Thanks all for looking and directing! As an aside, they are selling some completely random 100th anniversary stuff in lounge 52 right now. KLM agent working the shop in there looks horribly bored. |

They no doubt want to get rid of all that junk before the entire world population forgets about the centenary, which should be any day now. Johan |
