The Ä260 and Ä70 seem to have a 057 ticket number/EMD number, which would mean that it was issued by Air France. If you have an AF ticket and rebook via KL, your new ticket/EMD will be issued on KL stock. Itís strange, have you checked with AF?

The issue was resolved, as explained in the longer post upthread. And yes, the ticket was purchased from AF, and re-issued (without permission/authorisation) by AF.

I just noticed that there was a "twist" in the tale that I had forgotten about, and which I could possibly have used to keep the change I wanted for the lower quoted price.

All's well that ends well, though.
