I saw PH-BFT zip by at 37,000 ft this morning, en route to ICN. Four perfect contrails against an azure sky.

I guess the scheduling folks are taking it only one month at a time. KLM changed July to drop the combis from the JFK-AMS route, flying 777s and 787s. But they left August and September in place. That seems like it would sow confusion. At least in my mind...

Yes, you are correct, KLM is taking it one month at a time, whereas JV partner DL is continuously changing schedules as far out as November. Works really great if you have an itinerary with legs operated by both. First DL cancels or reschedules half your flights. Having called the Plat line umpteen times to sort all that out, you can then sit back and wait for KL to screw up their part of your booking.
